First off- maybe the timing could have been set with a brand new chain, and new gears, with no slack, and it would not have skipped- - as new.

These seats can be un-stapled, shaved with a bread knife, then re-stapled, re-using the old cover.

If you take a close look at the "art" you'll see that they are photoshopped- - OR - the different views are of different helmets.

(the patterns aren't consistent with the rotation)

While the motor is out, you could drop the "oil pan" and look for odd trash, unusual amounts of copper or ally, and for bits of the plastic chain guides, if there.

You need to know that your vacuum operated petcock isn't shutting off fully, as well as a needle/seat problem on at least 1 carb, and the temporary fix is a cheap, $5.00 (8 Canadian) lawnmower fuel sh ...

The shaft drive bikes have a different eyelet size on the bottom, and most likely, you are talking a different overall length, and spring rate too. Other than that- - yes.

A couple years ago, some one said they were going to have an ignition that senses a card in your wallet. You approach the bike- - it comes alive.

Yes ! Acompression test would have revealed it.
