I did a "Lazy-man's" Polish on my 900's Carbs.
Just the Outboard two Carbs.
But, I'm pulling them off the Bike to Clean them up prior to selling the 900; so I'm going to have the Carb Body's ... Media Blasted and the Carb Top Covers ... Powder Coated!

WOW. Nothing short of WOW.
Question - what order did you apply those various compounds?

the painted black ones, strip the bodies completely, steaming simple green bath, then a steaming vinegar bath, stainless steel toothbrush and another simple green bath
spray down with MEK and paint with Gun Kote, bake 350 for a hour and reassemble they look the same today as they did two years ago

wizard, whats your adress, I'm sending you my bike. Lol. Your work is impressive as always.
Rick, i don't know what to say other than wow.
My bike is stored outside under a tarp and it rains nine months out of the year so that kind of stuff will never make it to my bike.
