Rick_in_WA and I will be leaving the 'Couve at 10:00 Sunday am. I was able to trade shifts so no time constraints. My sin in law has my XJ so will ride the Beemer.

No fair laughing at the color!

See y'all soon,

Loren

(bump)....Loren and I are meeting up at the I-5 ridgefield exit AM/PM at 10am should anyone be able to join us.
Anyone along the way drop me a call 360-977-2443 since my comp time is scarce.

A great time , a great place to meet up, great folks, and we need to do it again!

I have the card in Vancouver, WA so anybody in S Oregon/N. California want to meet up sometime soon?

Since I have the card in the PDX area anyone who was not able to make the ride please pm me and we'll see what time and where works to get together.

I'll let Gamuru flesh out the details of the day but I do want to mention that he SEEMS to be a fairly normal guy. From what I was able to observe his head does NOT bob up and down like his avatar!!!!

Thanks again Don for your perseverance in making today a success.

It was very nice to meet everyone. The weather was great, the food was awesome. Thanks Eric for joining me on the ride down. Thanks Don and April for putting this together.

Allow me to be the first to post pics.

I agree we should do it again. (But maybe under happier circumstances next time?)

To the Schmitt family: It was a privelege to sign the card and participate in this gathering in Bill's honor. God Bless all of you.

Wow! What a day! April and I just got in. We've got a bunch-o-pictures between the two of us, so let me sort through them. I'll post something up in the morning... Hope that's okay.

Thanks, all, for coming out. It was a tremendous amount of fun to meet all of you. We'll definitely have to do it again next year.

I would like to Thank everyone for a great visit and get together today.
We look forward to another oppertunity to visit with you again. It just shows that you DON'T have to ride a Harley to have a nice time and meet nice people like today.

Alrighty then... I'm all rested up. Boy, what a day of riding. As my wife puts it, "My sitter is sore!"

Pictures? We gots 'em.

From Left to right: Loren's hands, Ken hiding behind the umbrella pole, Larry Jr. and Robin, Larry Sr.'s nose, and April

From Left to right: Loren's hamburger (Nummy!), Ken, Larry Jr., Avis and Larry Sr. (who's taken over hiding behind the umbrella pole), and April's hand.

Ken taking a picture of all of us. I wonder how that picture turned out, Ken? (hint, hint)

Eric, our very own international man of mystery and travel, all the way from Vancouver, BC. He gets the prize for furthest distance traveled!

Here's a slightly better shot of Loren. Across the table are the two Larrys.

This one's a tough one. In the background, off to the very left is Ken. Heading his direction wearing the latest in assless chaps is Jeff (j/k).
In front, L to R, Avis, Robin, Larry and Larry, Rick, Curtis, and Loren's forehead.

Curtis is signing the remembrance card for our friend and fallen rider, Bill. Rest in peace, Bill.

L to R: Larry Sr., Curtis, Rick, Ken, and Robin.

Here's Rick getting ready to head for Cabela's on his screaming Seca Turbo. That's right, I said Cabela's. I think the comment's were, "You can't come this far without stopping by Cabela's."

A little friendly ogling going on here.

I knew I missed someone. This is Christy. She rode two-up with Curtis on his Kawi Ninja.

A couple last pictures before we all headed for home.

It was great to see the several fine examples of Yamaha engineering. They're all great bikes and you guys should be proud.

Well, I guess that's about it for my pictures. I want to say thanks again to you all for coming to the Meet Up and also to Eagan's Drive In. The food was great and the gal that came out to take 700 photos of us was a real sport about it.

Loren, thanks for shepherding the card and camera onto its next destination.

We had a great time and I'm excited about next year's get together. Ride safe everyone.
