Some have tried it, it's almost guaranteed to rub on the swingarm without modifications. Even if it doesn't, you'll have to run it at the absolute maximum air pressure to stop it from rubbing under load.

A supple new tire would probably clear even less. I haven't heard anyone say they could run a 140. Since it is tire time I have been exploring the few alternatives.
