    Hi Guys,
it hapened to me a few times, that after stalling at a stop sign, my xj650 Maxim did not wanted to start. She was low on gas and when switched over to prime for a few seconds, still didn't want to start. Then to reserve and the same thing. Finally does start on reserve after abt. 3-5 min.
Just wondering, may be it was a little hot. Or it just takes a few minutes for the gas to fill the carbs.

While I don't know the answer to your question if I don't put the choke lever in the right place and start the bike and it starts then dies(rare occurance) it doesn't like to start right away. It seems like it is flooded and needs a minute to clear out then starts right back up with ease.

The bowls should fill quickly. One thing to look at is your fuel line and filter, make sure it is all downhill. Could be it is not and so it take
