On to the next issue with this friend's bike I'm fixing. He had the seat repaired and in the proces some piece/pieces were misplaced.

I am attaching a picture with the seat flipped and laying next to the rear mount area. Is anyone parting a bike out that would have what we're missing?

    Thanks!

    Oops, sorry... It's a 1982 XJ650 Maxim

    | didn't mean to post the pic twice! I'll learn someday!

I thought this would have been the easy one...

Can anyone direct me to someone parting some maxims or at least an exploded diagram or something to figure out what's missing?

    Thanks!

Took me a bit to work out whats missing but this pic should help.

Looks like you are missing the latch mechanism.

Yup... looks like the #3 and a pair of #5's with some nuts and lockwashers from the local hardware would set me up. I would assume that's spring loaded somehow to hold it in place?

Does anyone have some used parts to sell?

    Thanks, Hired_Goon!
