The Problem: Really hard to dig my wristwatch out of the sleeve of my Tourmaster at freeway speed; and a 63 mile commute (kinda nice to know what time it is...)

    The Solution:

Mounted it to a spare "dashboard" clip-on trim piece thing:

And it clips right on. The beauty of it is I can switch it between my two Secas in seconds since it just snaps on.

Formotion makes all sorts of cool stuff including $10,000 Matt Hotch wristwatches. The clock is one of their "stick on" series specifically for motorcycles, the larger sized ones. http://www.formotionproducts.com/ Really a high-quality product.

BFitz, did you get the electroluminescent model? I work night shift and in the winter it's dark out both directions. If you have the e-luninescent model do you have to turn the backlight on or is it on all the time? I would like to have a thermometer too. Neat neat stuff.

I have a $3 advance auto LCD. I tried it there Fitz and my house key got in the way. I stuck mine to the tach Does not cover it at all and it is easily viewed. I wish I could see it at night though. I'll try and get a pic

The PO mounted one to the handlebars. It does come in handy to know what time it is while riding.

Fitz, your clock looks great on key/ignition cover.

I was REALLY impressed by the quality. I like how it very closely matches the instruments. Check out their website.

I did change one thing: it came with a slighly undersized circle of double sided 3M FOAM as in 1/8" thick FOAM double-sided tape on the back. I replaced that with 3M automotive weatherstripping mounting tape (also foam, a lot thinner, and stickier) trimmed more closely to shape.

    (Plus I got a toolbox decal--I'm a "cheap date.")

And just today I was thinking about the symbolism of not having a clock on a motorcycle...it is more about the ride then being stressed out about getting somewhere...

Not if you're late for work! Bfitz has the perfect setup. A clock for the commute days and with a simple twist of the wrist the clock is gone!
