I am in the process of replacing the lower triple because of some broken fork mounting bolts and need the remove the lock nuts. Not wanting to to spend the cash on a spanner wrench and not wanting to use a chisel and hammer I found this.

$20 bucks at Home Depot for two of them. Made by Brasscraft Part #T149. Works like a champ. No busted knuckles or damaged lock nuts.

The replacement triple was $7 and was cut off another bike.

Remember where you store those tools, you're sure to need them again, in the next 20 years.

Excellent I just did my bearings those would have come in handy.
The punch and hammer worked just fine though.
