I am in the middle of replacing the seca tank with a maxim tank. I will have the seca tank for sale as soon as I'm done. It wont have a gas cap or petcock but it is in good shape, no dents, no rust.

I have many other parts miscellaneous parts. including the old squrae headlight, back inside fender, rubber piece that goes below the ignition, and more. Check out pictures of my bike and if you don't see it on my bike anymore I probably have it.

I'm very new to biking (just bought my '82 SECA 650 friday), and I'm not sure how much windshield I need. My bike didn't come with a windshield, and riding on the highway isn't much fun without one. How much does this windshield help with wind on the highway?

    Thanks!

I thought it worked great. it has good coverage I am 5' 11" and the wind hit just about my visor on my helmet. Which is where a windscreen is supposed to hit.if your taller than 6 feet you may have some trouble with the wind hitting your neck area but for the most part the bulk of the wind is deflected to make for a smooth ride.

I think that the SECA 650 has an 8" headlight, but I can't find the specs and my bike is currently in a different state. Does anyone know the headlight size on an '82 SECA 650?

I can't answer the question about the headlight width. hopefully someone else can.

Update: The tank is for sale, I am looking for $50 plus shipping.

I just found out last night, the headlight width is 8", so I guess this particular windshield is out anyway.

    Thanks!

I still have the gauge cluster I pulled of my 750, I used the wires in my new cluster so I don't have those but what I do have is the wires left over from my new gauges (which are from a 650 maxim). The "computer"/fuel gauge warning lights is included along with the tach and speedo, they all work great. Only reason I got rid of it was because of the square look.

If your still interested shawn PM me and we can discuss a price.
