Hello. I'm new to this forum and have a couple of questions. I just bought a 1986 maxim XJ700 last year and have a couple of questions. I'm not exactly sure what the exact model of my bike is. I have seen an XJ700N, XJ700S and XJ700SC listed on parts websites. I want to purchase a carb rebuild kit and want to make sure I get the right one. I looked up the VIN and it just says XJ700. Is there any way to tell which model it is? I'm just not sure if the carb kits differ between the various models. Thanks.
