Why is it that everyone here seems to have the option to post photos but me? Is it some kind of conspiracy? Am I going to be relegated to using only text forever?
One of the little squares going across above the message box has an option to insert the URL to an image that's on a website somewhere but everyone else seems to be able to attach photos directly to the message somehow. I'd like to know how they are able to do that while I'm not.

I think you need to reduce the image size in kb before you try to send it

Steve, I've added some pictures here to indicate how to upload pictures directly to the forum.

The Attachment/Image must be less than 500 pixels wide and 480 pixels high
The Attachment/Image must be less than <200KB in size

    1. When adding pictures you hit the 'Browse" button
    2. Find the picture on your computer
    3. Click 'Add Attachment'.
    4. Click Submit.

When attaching multiple pictures select the last one first. Someday that will be fixed. Try it out in the Test forum.

Like I said, there's no option to add an attachment. Now you're just showing off because you're a moderator.

You need to use "Post reply" ... above the blue bar and a little to the left!

Don't do "Quick reply" -- that's text only!

I think you just need to go below the blue bar that says "Add an Atttachment" and add the file.

Sometimes it says "File size too large"

How do I get this sized right to be the Avatar Image?

Another simple way is to go to imagevenue.com, and when your uploading it gives you the option ot resize your pic, resize it to the dimension required, upload, the download the newly resized pic

There are other problems with this forum besides just lack of attachments. If I try to reply to a message and press Submit it works but if I click on Post Reply it clears the message and doesn't do anything!

I think it's just discrimination against us non-Canadians. This summer I'm coming up there and driving slow in the fast lane with my turn signals blinking, holding up the checkout lane in the market trying to cash an out of state check with no ID and all the other stuff Canadians do when they come down here! Then you'll be sorry! LOL

Attachments do work in the forum. I'll do some testing with the Post Reply.

LOL, I hate it when other drivers don't move over to the right lane when not passing. Paying with checks here is a thing of the past. We either pay by debit card (direct withdrawal from your saving/checking account), credit card or cash.
