This is road dog, its a real work in progress. When I got her the paint had faded to white on the right but the left was still dark maroon, covered in about a 1/16 of an inch in some sort of wax like surfboard wax. There was a rust bubble lifting the chrome on the left muffler and one blow with a rubber mallet knocked about a 2" hole in the muffler. It wouldn't start with out spray start, or idle below 3000. The throttle stuck one day making a left turn and it jumped right out from under me, fell and was doing donuts in the street all by itself. You can read what I've done with her since and now you can see what she looks like-so far. I was going to paint the pipes and mount the horns and install a larger air scoop today but it rained. So what I thought I'll take a picture of her as she sits. I think its a nice little 750 now. I wanted a cruiser not a crotch rocket, but I wanted her to run like a rocket (she does  .) (I took the right side cover off so you can see the air inlet). My inspiration was the Australian and New Zealand police bikes except I used an American style windshield. Still needs a speedo, a clutch lever and odds and ends but shes mine and I did it all myself. What do you think?

I got most of them to load in my gallery but for some reason I had trouble getting them on this page. Some of them made it on xjmods after I uploaded them to hotmail then re-downloaded them to the computer and uploaded again (hotmail shrunk them). Sorry 'bout that. I'm going to delete this string this afternoon. The smallest picture my camera will take is 450x650pix

Another good host is FLICKR. When your pics are uploaded you are given a choice of what size you would like and the URL capture to use. Click, click, click and there be pictures here!
Hope this isn't taken as a thread hack, but just showing the differences for hosting. :)

Up close the gold colour is looking sad, but the stainless bolts do dress up the side cases and the carbs a bit. I posted a link in another thread to my FLICKR slideshow. Here's the link:

Please stay away from Photobucket! It's an absolutely dreadful hosting site. Your pics will not be here a year from now, and their website is painful.

imgur.com is the way to go. :)

I love that bike but, your wheels probably cost more than my whole bike.
