I recently bout a 1998 xj600 had 10000 miles on the clock I put about a additional 2600 miles on in short order. I installed a exhaust system and a jet kit (dyno jet) over the weekend now after installing it has a slight hesitation during roll on most noticeable when hot (rich Im thinking) ive tride all jets in the kit with worse out comes so I'm think of going back to the stock jet just leaving the adjustable needles in will this work? what should I set the needles at.

Go with the best performing jet and click the needle up, meaning the next ring down, to position the needle higher at its lowest, if that makes sense. Shimming the needle SHOULD help with hesitations. Off idle and mid range.
