Up for sale , off of an 83' Maxim 750, the X-1 Yamaha Fairing and mounting bar with signals. I pulled this off of this bike the same day and every part of it is in great condition. The locks on both compartments work perfectly, the wiring harness that you need to tie the lighting is unhacked. Shield is decent, has a 1" crack and a couple of smaller ones, but it is still solid.

I am looking for the best OBO on this item, if not I will just Ebay it. It seems to be pretty rare and doesnt seem to be tooo big to ship. Figured I would give you guys first shot at it. Thanks

I'm not sure about it being a direct bolt on, but there is only 2 fixing points for the fairing and nothing fancy there. About 1" above headers on the frame it self the "U" Bolts clamp on (The frame is 8" center to center of each frame tube or 9" outside to outside of the frame.)

The upper bolts are mounted on a "gusset" of the sort on the frame and the flat bars affix the fairing to the bracket. Looks like a universal style of mounting, but check your bike to be sure. At Worst case I would see an upper bracket being welded in as the only real "modification" if yours does not have it.

I whipped this up for those that want to see about fitment for themselves. Let me know if it does or doesnt seem like it will work. Thanks

If anyone is interested in a kit I am also selling the hardbags and trunk along with the bracketing as well. Once I clean them up I will make a post for them as well. Thanks!

Does anyone know if these bags will fit the 82 xj1100j maxim? I really like the looks of these bags. Could you send some pics of the mounting brackets and how they relocated the turn signals. Thanks, ride-on

They likely would fit, I will make an ad tomorrow for those showing the bracket to mount them and such.

Finding shipping containers for these items is killing me. Oversized shipping boxes kill the profit margin, so I'm still looking for a way to be able to ship cost effectively.

I got boxes for the hard bags and trunk and I hope to have one for the fairing soon. Thanks!
