    Did you just take off the factory rubber the pods came with and swap it for the air box boot? I'm putting pods on my x and need to create some sort of velocity stack to lower the headache I'm going to have already! Thanks

    That is indeed an effective cure :) If you REALLY insist on going pods then that looks like exactly what streetbrawler did, just popped the filter onto the groove where the intake rubber would have originally fitted to the cure... uh, I mean airbox
