    We truly live in a great time. Thanks to the many sites like the XJBikes.com and the willingness of a lot of good people that freely give their time and expertise to answer questions and post videos and pictures to help others out many of the old bikes that sat are now being res-erected and enjoyed. I ran across these videos a while back when I had my heart set on owning a Midnight 1100.

    Amazing! Seeing how nice those move I am quite sure my 550 needs some work...well, at least I can't imagine them moving that smoothly at all.

    There's something very hypnotic about the under load video.

    The shell video and the other info I've recently been made aware off by chacal and here now put a few things into perspective too...
    I always thought the 2 and 4 barrel carbs were about volume of fuel and never equated the barrels to doing specific points of throttle opening, like the jets within our carbs... very groovy.
