The rubber boots that were melted on my front caliper (82 XJ550 Seca BTW) are proving very difficult to find replacements for. I checked at all the parts places and dealerships in the area, and looked at all the online parts places, and no one even has the boots listed on the schematics. They're on the schematics in my repair manual though. I'm thinking maybe I just can't get them seperately fron the caliper itself. So, I guess my question is, am I going to have to replace the whole thing just to get two stupid little rubber boots?

Can you please post a pic or a cut and paste of the diagram of them?

Is this what you're after?..
Or are you looking for the two boots that seal the the caliper slider pins?.

Nope, that's not it, although I do need those too. Here's a pic from the diagram. I got rid of the old ones since they were pretty much just rubber goo.

I know these, but they are not like the ones I have at home that I would have given you for the postage costs...
Keep looking, someone is bound to have some
