Hey people in XJ land, I will soon be ordering some stainless steel sheathed brake lines from Len for my Seca and am trying to visualize how these would look on my bike:

HCP2844BLUST Aftermarket DOT-approved braided stainless steel BRAKE LINE ASSEMBLY, from the distribution joint to the left brake caliper, with bright blue sheathing.

I was wondering if anyone has bought these 'Bright Blue' lines and what shade of blue they really are. My Seca is the factory silver with blue and white trim. How close are the two blues? If anyone has a picture of these lines I would appreciate seeing it.

    Thanks fellow XJ'ers!

Best to ask Len, he might be able to send a pic and/or comment on oem paint match.

I ordered the red, I like them. Haven't seen the blue though.

That helps somewhat so thanks guys.

Tskaz, how did you polish your forks like that? Looks sharp. Mine are rather not so sharp.

It involves taking the forks off, a lot lot lot of wet sanding with 400 and 800 grit, then machine buffing with a bench buffer, first with tripoli compound, then white compound.

Rolling the dice and ordered the blue lines. I think it will be a good contrast and if not I'll just have to get used to it. Len has to order them so it might be a few weeks but I'll be sure to post pictures.

Maker a Laker... I almost wish I had gone with the clears, half thought of painting Maxine silver at one point... Looking forward to seeing pics of the blue lines!
