Hi there! New to posting but I've been lurking and gleaning much info for the past month or so. Hopefully I'll be contributing in no time.

To cut to the chase I'm rebuilding my master cylinder and when I went to take it off tonight I was hung up by the stop lamp switch connection. The service manual wasn't very helpful and it doesn't seem obvious from how the connector is designed how it's released. Is it push tab style? Nothing looks like an obvious tab really, and one side is impossible to get at. I'd rather take a deep breath and ask rather than break it by using too much force.

    Thanks in advance guys.

There is a small hole on the underside of the MC. Use a small screwdriver, nail or wire to push the tab in, gently pull at the same time and it will come out.
