Well i had a friend that had more time than I had to help me finished my rear set that i wanted. I modified the original front foot peds. they will be mounted off of the rear bar just above the axle mount. I will be welding them in place and that will allow me to have just about endless possibilities.

Could you explain this a little? I'm not much into custom stuff, what's the "loaded gun" refer to? Is that because your body is in more of a race-style position? What are those brackets exactly? To move the seat or foot pegs or what? All those holes in the square piece there, is that for adjustment?

Ok i will answer the questions. First it give me a race-sytle position allow me to have my feet up higher on bike to allow more lean angle. The brackets as you see from the picture mount directly to the frame and will allow me to adjust till i feel like they are good. once i find the final locatio i will trim them back to that point. this is the last major change to my bike besides the FZ600 front end swap i will be doing in october.

the other question YES the load gun custom refers to the company where i got the pedals from not the other pieces

Hey what is that tool lying behind them in the first pics?

I just ran across one in some tools that were being given away and took that one, despite that I have no idea what it's for...it looked like it had to have a very specific use so I was intrigued...

I've stared at it and played with it...and just can't fathom what it does, exactly...LOL...

how is that riding position with those rear sets? how are your bars sitting up front?

the pliers in the first picture are wire twisting pliers. You can clamp the wires and pull the rear balling and it will twist them for you.

The riding postion is more of a sport bike style. it allow for more aggressive cornering. My bar are a set of custom make 4" offset to the front. I will get a picture when i get a chance. I will soon have clip on from the FZ600 when i switch the whole front end.

The FZ600 is a dirrect swap to the XJ650 front end same bearing and neck lenght.

Ok, cool, figured it was something like that. Nice bike! Before this the only pedal moving I'd seen was for forward controls. Me, I stand up a lot on my bike, for bumps and whatever, so I like the pegs under me. But obviously for cornering your set up is awesome.
