    Hi, all!

I am curious is there is any difference between K&N pod filters which go for 200$ (kit of 4) and some no name pods that sell for 25$ (kit of 4).

I know the K&N can be cleaned and cheap filters cant, is there any other difference?

    Thanks

if the cheap ones have a paper filter, they don't like to get wet. water won't hurt k&n's . foam cheapies would be ok though.
you sure you really want pods ?

Pods generally make tuning the carbs more difficult. Do a search on the forum, I've read several topics on pods mentioning specifics.

ya thats the only thing i could think of. which isnt so bad. adjust the floats, tinker w/ the idle and allow more fuel to mix with that extra air coming thru.

    Thanks for the reply.

I am getting dyno jets as well and I am pretty comfortable with carb synchronization and fuel/air mixture adjustments. So I think it's worth a try ;)

The problem with pods is the type of carbs you'd be putting them on. CV carbs are difficult to tune with pods, but not impossible.
