I have a 1982 750j with 64000klms on it and it only gets 30miles to the gallon :( other wise it seems to run pretty good.It has an aftermarket exhaust and a k&n air filter but otherwise it is stock.I have ajusted valve clearance and it went up from 25mpg,I didnt sync the carbs yet as I am waiting on the yics tool but I dont think they are too far out as the bike seems to idle smooth and has good power (will go an indicated 120mph)although I am normally easy on the gas (getting older now dont like the thought of pain as much)doing 60mph max.
Any thoughts are welcome, Thank you

With the aftermarket goodies you've got on the beast, it appears to me that your fuel mileage is appropriate. I expect you should see a slight improvement once you get your carbs Colortuned and synced.
