where is Geneva on the Lake ?

does anybody from N E Ohio or W PA know where it is ?

 

If you're talking about the one in Ohio, it's on the shore of Lake Erie about an hour east of Cleveland. It's about 50 mi west of Erie, PA.

If you are talking about the one in NY, I know where that is, too....it's on route 14 along the west shore of Seneca Lake out in the Finger Lakes region.

Sept. 6/7 looks good. My wife will be out of town and if I'm left alone, bad things happen. It's a good chance to shake off the cobwebs and get the stink blowed off.

 

Any one from OH, PA or NY interested in a gathering at Geneva on the Lake, OH on the weekend of Sept. 6/7? It would be nice to meet some of you folks and see if you're as "good looking" as I am. I'll be the tall, skinny old fart with the XJ.

Had a great time and it was cool to meet someone from the forum. Don't feel like such an orphan. Same time next year, Polock? We have a whole year to motivate some of these slackers to go. We could make it an XJ family reunion.

 

The dates for Thunder on the Strip are Sept. 10-13, this year. Looks like we're drumming up so interest in another thread. I'll bump this again around the end of July as a reminder. Polock, looking forward to seeing again.

I found us a place up there to hang out, kick back and act stupid if we want, basically clean up and don't burn the place down.

 

I call them "asshole bikes", cuz like an asshole (or an opinion), everybody gots one!

chilly and wet, i need to get out some rain gear

 

I was just looking at that. Fun times. All I have is some hiking rain gear, will probably have to wear that.

 

Might be nice to not have to take all my gear off once I'm there or risk heat stroke.

 

Looking at the weather report for Geneva has dampened our spirits. Jared and I decided to call it off. Sucks, I was looking forward to meeting Polock. Just not enough to be in rain all day, and actual thunder to boot, not just the on-the-strip variety.

 

At least next year I should be on an XJ! Bummed too, was looking forward to a good ride and meeting polock. Have fun there, take some pics.
