I've seen seat backs for our bikes on other bikes, but I have no idea what I am looking for. Yamaha accessory retailers don't carry stuff for our bikes (generally speaking).

Also looking for a windshield as well. As a side note, though my bike has saddlebags, they are rather small and I am looking for bigger bags. Suggestions for this as well?

I put a set of medium bags on mine but the rubbed on the tire so I built a bracket by bending some flat bar and drilling a hole in the bar to fit under the front bolt of the grab bar on my rear fender.

Painted them black and mounted them, BTW, they work great!

My bike has a rather small SlipStreamer that I like but I dont know the model or anything like that. It mounts to the handle bars and is real clean and sturdy.

Bought a National Street Shield EX as I wanted something slightly larger than the much recommended Slipstreamer Spitfire. Very nice windscreen, yet still unobtrusive enough for me. Plus (once you have the mounting hardware installed) you can remove it or reinstall it in under 30 seconds.
As for a backrest, I picked up a "universal" type unit after seeing too many rusted, bent, etc Yamaha backrests going for ridiculous prices on eBay. You can see how I mounted it here:

    Definitely happy with both choices.

National Cycle Plexistar 2, fits perfectly.
Bought an OEM padded backrest on eBay. (don't ask me how much, if my wife finds out she'll kill me)

I've a Memphis Shades Hellcat on my XJ, fits great. Looks cool too as the bottom half is gradient black. Comes in a bunch of colors. I thinnk it was about $130, got it from MAW.
