gas cap crossmatch

    Hi everyone. I need a gas cap for my 80 xj650 maxim.

    I saw a cap for sale from an 81 xj750 seca, and searching all the parts lists, they appear to be exactly the same, one site even showing the same part number for both.

    Would anyone be able to confirm this before I buy it?

    our Links section has a link to Yamaha online parts. I had a quick glance and they seem the same but you may want to have a closer look at the tanks in there :wink:

    They are not the same Weizenguy. I've checked out my '81 Max650 to '81 Seca750 and they don't match up. Sorry buddy.
