well i have yet anouther post this morning when i finely picked my bike up she told me the spedo cable was short and the spedo was off well i dont quite like the idea of guessing how fast im going so i would like to know if any one happens to have one of thease laying around theay dont need or if any one can tell me how long of a one i need. i have a 82 maxim 750

currently right now the cable wont even fit in the loop off the front frok and it is only resting on abou 2 threads on the back of the spedo. it off about 10-15pmh around interstate speed and around 0-7 at city speed and about 5-10 at highway speed. found that out after my friend and i got to tomah my spedo said 60mph and i was doing 74-76 he said in that area well any way just want to know how long of a coard i need to order thanks all and have a great day

To my experience, an aftermarket cable for your machine should be about $20 new. Cheap enough to pick it up but let's hope somebody here can spot you one!
