I tried to sign in on the XJ mailing list. When I sent back the reply to the address, it returned a message stating that it would only accept plain text.
Can anyone help me?

Go to your email settings/options and select plain text. You are probably emailing in HTML and that's why you got the return message. In mine it's under tools, settings, send. Just click around, you'll find it.
