Title: Are there any site like this for XJ Bikes????
Beer Runner - September 23, 2005 06:50 AM (GMT)
I found a site for XS bikes and some are very nice looking, so I was wondering if a site like this exists for the XJ owners
The site is
XS 650 If this is the only site then we need one too. I would love to see other XJ owners post pictures ot there bikes.

The xj cd??? It covers all of the xj bikes, xj 650 Maxim/Seca/ Midnight, the 700 ( designed to fit under the 750 cc large bike tax/restrictions of jap bikes in the 80s) the 750 maxim/seca/x and the turbo bikes, as wells as the xj 900 and xj1100
Might have missed some of the models...
You say there is a 650 cd? No idea about that one..

Ah - that CD - sorry - was a bit slow in the uptake.
The first CD covers 650's 70-77, the second 78-82. The first maxim was built for 1980 so obviously not on the first cd... on the second cd he talks about using his own xs650 to do the wiring diagrams as they were done wrong in the aftermarket manuals.
So - I don't think you'll find any xj content - sorry. You could always email the author.

Is the XJ CD worth the $10? I have been thinking about getting it; however, was hoping to find someone who has it and can make sure I'm not wasting my money.

Worth the $10? It has FSM's, how-to's, parts diagrams, lots of great tips and videos. Definately worth the cost of two Latte's at Starclucks.

It would be nice to see this forum grow... this type of format works well for retaining history - if I need to know something about tires all I have to do is search. Plus it's nice to have a more casual area to chat and actually get to know people a little bit.
Hopefully I'll see you all on the road some day,
woot.
