front brake light switch

    My bike was laid down before I got it. Ant the brake handle has no switch or spot for one any ides on how to get a switch to work or do I need to change the handle

    You sure about that?

    On the 550, the front brake light switch just plugs into this hole in the master cylinder/lever perch; you might not recognize it for what it is:

    The green arrow is pointing to one of the two locking tabs on the switch.

    The red dotted circle is the location of the "latch hole."

    Yeah thatit but dnt have it. Nor it have a spot for one. The wires are there like I said it was laid down before I got and that handle isn't stock.

    Lower 48 in general. Otherwise Central Mitten.
    With the bike being "laid down" it is very possible that a non-stock master cylinder was placed on the bike. Check it against your parts bike.

    A pic might help to fully understand the it is not there part.
