Well..... Seems how my Maxim project is a little slow right now due to holidays, waiting on parts, and the fact that I'll be out of Province for work for 3-4 weeks. I thought I'd share a couple of my previous winter builds, that I'm pretty proud of. I'm sure you sportbike guy's can appreciate them, as well as most of the other members who slave over their bikes to personalize them, and make them unique to themselves.

Anyway, here is last winters build. Picked it up for $3500, with most parts to complete. Then just went about customizing it to my own liking....

    2000 Hayabusa

As I picked up after being looped in a wheelie....

Never documented it as well as my XJ, but then again, most of the parts where bolt on goodies. Then a few custom touches....

    Lowered front and rear 1.5"-2"
6" Extended swing arm with GSXR600 pivot
Flushed seat lock, and had a hidden release
Twin D&D's.....Nice little Bark to her, lol
    Undertail
    Clear lights all around
    Plate relocator
    Custom face plates for gauges
    TRE
    K&N
    Jetted
    Mirror block offs

Had a forward facing camera, for taking onboard video's
As well as a rear facing camera, which doubled as my rear view mirrors, and a LCD screen for viewing.

The bike was alot fun to build, and turned heads everywhere. Not to mention it was fast as hell. A shame I got rid of it, but I get bored easy...... Ended up trading it even for a 1997 Regal Rush XR2 Jet/Wake Boat....14.5' long, under 500kg, and 175hp 2 stroke Merc........ What a fun, fast little boat I tell Ya !!! 8O Living on the lake my whole life, I just had to have one. 8)

    Thanks For Looking, Cheesy!

Thanks for the kind words guy's. Suprisingly the D&D's where not as loud as I had suspected. She did have a very distinctive growl about her, but it wasn't annoyingly loud like every other D&D I hear. I was pleasantly suprised. They where a good score at $300 for the set, with chrome mid-pipes. 8)

I cannot see for the life of me why you would part with it!
Of course one could ask me the same about a certain trade of my beloved Interceptor and Ninja for cars that weren't worth the trades...

Yes Robert.....It was painfull to part with, but I'm enjoying the boat a well. I only wish I could afford to keep all my toy's, and that my wife allowed it,lol. I'm sure I will build another one in the near future. With any luck, a turbo will be with'in my budget as well. :D
