[IMG] Picked up this Seca last week. Seems to run well. The oil and batt lights stay on on the Atari. It looks like the sensors are missing. I think I'll leave the Atari on and try to put some new sensors in. It has a claimed 8200 miles.

The battery sensor wire is white with a red trace, near the battery. It measures the electrolyte level in one cell if you have a traditional flooded battery, and new sensors are available. If you want to, it can be modified to be a battery voltage sensor by using a 2.2 K ohm resistor in place of the battery sensor. Using a bullet connector and a ring connector, hook the resistor up to the sensor wire and the positive battery terminal (cover it all in shrink-wrap).

The oil light is likely on because either the oil level is low, or the oil level float is stuck. Change the oil and add a dose of Seafoam (follow the directons on the bottle). Run it like that for a few hundered miles to clean any sludge out.

Thanks, K-moe. I'll see what I can do. For some reason, my picture isn't posting. I'll work on that as well.[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

If you want the lazy fix for those lights, you can cover them with electric tape. Outta sight!

    Seized engine .....
Charging system failure, better head home without shutting the engine off....

Lazy fixes make a fella have to work hard.
