Given a bike and this is gonna be the first piece needed to figure out what needs done to get it running. Let me know if you have one available and how much it's gonna hurt my pocket.

The tank size is definitely NOT the first piece needed to figure out what needs to be done to get it running.
    Find out if:

    -Compression is high enough
-is there spark at all 4 cyls?

    Then go from there.....

I have a 82 750 Maxim tank. Needs a good cleaning inside and a fuel sender block off plate and a petcock. PM me if you want pictures and to discuss price and shipping.

I should have updated my post. I found a tank on ebay and I've got the bike running. Couldn't find a working vacuum petcock or even one with a good diaphram to frankenstein one together, but I just put on a new gravity fed and put a cap on the vacuum line. I've only been on the bike for a week, but this is such a fun bike to ride.
I should be putting more effort into making the bike pretty, but I've spent most of my time taking it to any fun stretch of road I can think of within 2 hours of home.

..and checking valve clearances before one gets burnt. They get overlooked so often.
