    Popped my block. but here's some info on the '82 Xj550rj Seca:

    [IMG]

    Resistor colours - Grey, Red, Gold, Gold = 8.2 Ohms 5%
    Diodes - White/Blue Forward Voltage? = 338*(top) !!(middle) 336*(bottom)
    *multimeter spits this out, got no idea what the value means

    [IMG]
    (Anode = +, Cathode = -)

    White/Green = + Diode - = White
    Yellow = + Diode - = SkyBlue (Sb)
    Green = + Diode - = Blue/White (L/W)
    Green = Resistor = Black/Red

    Having said all that, my wiring colours don't match the diode colours.
    My White/Green is presumably the white from the reg rec, going to the Headlight relay.
    My Yellow is actually Blue/yellow from the kickstand relay/clutch switch to the Neutral indicator/Starter relay/Neutral switch
    My Green is actually Black/Red presumably from the Oil light going to the Oil switch.
    So.. Have I even got the right relay? it did run until I put a freshly charged battery in..

    The "Euro" 550R and the USA-market 550R have different diode blocks.
