Hi Guys, just a quick intro - Name's Andy, I'm a semi-retired resident in South Africa, I'm a keen outdoors man, hunter and off-roader. I currently chair the Hilux4x4 Club of South Africa, and I am a member of a handful of forums, one of which I moderate.

I have always been a motorcycle enthusiast but set biking aside with the advent of our kids some 30 odd yrs ago but since they thenselves are now adults, the biker virus has flared up within me again - according to the wife I have entered my 2nd childhood.

I have a Yamaha TW200 trail bike and some eight months ago added an XJ750 Seca, a bike that I always admired.

For a 33/34 year old lady with 68½ thousand Kilos on the clock, she's in surprisingly good nick with a little corrosion here and the (mostly on the frame, brackets and such like), but still has the original paintwork.

The Yamaha XT500 is not mine but belongs to my son in law and for some reason has made itself at home here - (probably enjoys the company of the other bikes and the dogs. LOL!).

    Welcome to the camp Andy.
There are a lot of wise people here that can help, just ask.
Like your brake light issue . . . There are 'lectrical genius's here, they will sort it out with you -

    Me and 'lectricity?

Hi Andy, I'm enjoying the pics , your 750 seca does look very good for it's age. Paint looks nice,
I saw very recent threads regarding the brake light on the same model you have I'm sure if you search for it , you will get some insight and if not just ask .
