    Question,
I am almost ready to use this bike on a regular basis and I don't have the original tool kit onboard.
I would like to get some suggestions as to what to carry in my tool kit that might be helpful to me on the road if I run into any issues.
What do you carry in your tool kit?

    Addendum to Rick's list:
    Cheap pocket multi-meter
(never needed sparkies, so I'll forgo them. Regular maintenance takes care of that issue.)
Spare fuses (the ones that fit the bike, this will be a test question)
    4-in-1 screwdriver
    10mm 3/8" drive socket
    12mm " "
    13mm " "
    14mm " "
    15mm " "
Similar selection of combination wrenches (get the slim ones, space and weight savings) plus one that fits the axle nuts
spare cotter pins for axle nuts
Spare 1157 and peanut (instrument cluster) bulb
Tire patch and inflator kit (you never know and when you do, you'll be miles from anywhere)

    Additional notes:
Be sure to get the needle nose pliers that incorporate wire cutters in their construction
Six-pack is optional but can be invaluable in bartering for salvation at some podunk town where nothing is in metric
The above list is not easily squirrled away in the nooks thoughtfully provided by the engineers at Yamaha. I also pack tools in my riding gear so don't think it will all fit. Invest in a small riding kit bag, they are priceless
