83 XJ750 Seca BOBBER almost done

This is my almost complete 83 xj750 bobber, its been a long way, but at last i see the light of the end of the road!
(just need to assemble the minimum electrical wiring)

Looking good. IMHO it would look even better with a front fender.

Very nice. What kind of handle bars are those? Where did you locate?

 

Where did you get the front fender at?

 

I made the handle bar, I use 7/8 and 2.2mm inside diameter for the center bar and 3/4 & 2.2mm tube for the two litle ones from the middle i reuse and cut the xj handle bar for the end of hb and a piece for the holder. you can even see my bad weld. And Im from Guatemala.

 

its the xj750 front fender and i use the frond fender to make the rear one, not the best idea but work for now. I need to find a new front fender.

 

Having any electrical issues with the controls? Painted bars can make that happen, messes with the ground circuit.

 

The XJ750 controls do not ground through the bars. There is a dedicated ground wire in the harness.

 

Okay-My Bad, I thought all the XJ's controls grounded through the bars.

 

No problem with the control ground circuits, I have problems with all harness, still working on it, already take apart all harness and trying to assambly the minimum wiring because its a lot of useless cable and make it simple. I actually find a minimum wiring diagram and add the turning lights. Hopefully finish this week!

 

how intensely loud are your pipes. I wanted to run mine like at first but everyone said id' be obnoxious to ride with lol

 

one has to wonder. Clean bike though!

 

What type of gauges did you use and where did you find them?
