Really looking forward to taking my `82 Seca 750 out for a spin in the morning down to my local hangout which is busy 12 months a year with Sunday being the obvious big day. Our winters here are mild in Ireland, well by US standards anyways, though we can have cold ``snaps`` with black ice and heavy frost. The hill tops currently have some snow on them buts its nothing like the cold that I experienced in my 18 years living in Boston. Hell, I even have some flowers in my garden at present !! Here is a pic of my bike which I fully restored over the past year and its back now to almost perfect original shape, though I did upgrade the brake lines and fork springs. This is my fourth Seca 750 going all the way back to 1982 and I just love these bikes to death !! LOL Pic 009 edit.jpg

    Gorgeous.

Can you tell me if you have any problem with the wiring harness covers rubbing through where they pass over the oil cooler. I have a cooler installed, but lowered it about 2 cm out of concern that the wires would be pinched, or rubbed on. I'd like to move it back up to the stock position so that I can instal the factory steering damper without having to make a new bracket.

Yes indeed, Its a tight fit espc with those two clumps of wires within the plastic sheaths. But although snug, I have had no problem with chafing so far. The look at the front with all those wires is untidy but I arranged them as best I could so as to not look too messy. I wish Yamaha could have designed a custom cover to hide them away.

Thanks for the compliment. You currently have 4 Secas ?? That's got to be a record. Mind you I did have 3 FJ1200`s at one time when I lived in Boston. LOL Any pics of your bikes ????

Thanks for the comment. I did indeed have a lovely ride under bright sun and somewhat cool 41-43f temps. My local hangout, though only 30 mins from my house in Dublin, a major city, is set in a stunning valley in a National Park surrounded by the most beautiful country roads and legendary Irish countryside.

No, that's not a record. Two years ago there were 7 or 8 1983 900rk's here for a carb clinic ----- that might be a record

That's impressive, but I meant personally owning 4 Secas at the same time !!! Not just having them around to service them for customers or just to sell on. But still, that's an impressive collection of 900`s to be together under one roof. Would love to see a pic of that.
