Didn't really expect you to chop off the tail or anything... not your style! But with such a bare bones chassis, the possibilities are limitless! Try fitting 18 inch ape hangers under the windscreen! What about one of those gigantic front tires that you see on the ridiculous HD customs nowadays? Who needs to steer at all? Just joking, of course! I expect in a few years, it will look just as excellent as your other trophy winning showcase bikes.

It a bit of fun putting the puzzle you got in a box, but with all the pics of xj's here and on the web I figured out all the parts.
Just a few things to finish up like the fork seals and a bit of spit and polish she'll be on the road.
Thanks again Neil this was fun and a great purchase!

    Yeah, first turbo.

So, the only update I have:

Engine turns about 1/4 rotation, plug 1 and 2 have rust on them and the valves look stuck but I think I see some motion-- we'll see how soaking in kroil does. Plug 3 and 4 look good...

So, probably have to do a major teardown when time permits. Good news is I have an extra cylinder with pistons, would only have to find a head if needed.

Airbox has not shown up yet. I'll just start collecting parts for the time being.

Glad you enjoyed it, and glad to see it running again. I may have a set of seals tucked away. I'll check when I get home tonight. If so I'll send them your way.
    Thanks for the update..
