Anyone had any success removing rust from exhaust chrome? I have some pretty heavy rust on the chrome near the headers and on the rear of the pipes. I've used some 400 grit wet paper with chrome polish to remove the surface spots.

^ that really works. Crumple up the foil, use the cola (it worked with H2O for me) to moisten the foil and then start rubbing you exhaust. You will be amazed.

Thanks. I'll try the foil and cola tonight. Not sure I want to remove the exhaust to do the electrolysis, but it sure looks good.

If you use diet cola it's supposed to be less sticky since there is no sugar. As a side note, it's still sticky..
