I ordered the deluxe kit to redo my carbs ...it was missing 3 of the 4 needle and seats & gasket in my package ...He sent them out right away when I notified him ! Not a lot out there that would take care of this quickly. Yes I 'm putting in a plug if we do not support his resource some day it may not be there when it is needed most. I want to keep my "old school" bike going for another 30 yrs . As for the parts I they are first rate , I really like the hex head float bowl drain screws not cheap , but worth it in my opinion . Just remember
cheaper is not always all it is cracked up to be some things I've gotten from ebay ,Amazon have not been as what was pictured .

That explains it...thanks...yes I've been ordering quite a bit from him. No complaints. Fast shipping and I know I'm getting the correct parts for my bike. Peace of mind is worth it.

Another thing that rarely gets mentioned; many of the parts for tje XJ series were out of production until Len started asking manufacturers to start making them again, and showed them that there was indeed a market for them. It wasn't very long ago that new intake boots were unobtainable from any source.

Ditto. One of the reasons I went full resto on mine, the availability of parts and knowledge between this site and his is next to none. I placed a few number of orders with him, always had great service and he stands behind his stuff 100% and goes above and beyond on the customer service.

Len's catalogue is so comprehensive, it gets used as a resource guide. If you wanna know about compatibility across XJ models, compare the XJ4Ever part numbers for different bikes. For example, if you wanna know if a part from a Maxim will fit a Seca, consult the catalogue. Same part no. for Maxim and Seca? It'll fit! Really helps when searching evilBay or scrappers for used parts.

Far as I know theres no paper catalog. Heres a link to the catalog thats listed here's on the forum. I do warn you it is overwelming, takes some time to study it figure out hows it's put together. I use the find feature of the web browser to look for certain things I want. Then just start a conversation with Len or send him a email.

link to onsite catalog - http://www.xjbikes.com/forums/forums/xj4ever-supporting-vendor.23/
send him an email - info@xj4ever.com

Once upon a time there were places to order parts for Jap bikes of 70's 80's vintage...not anymore went to local Yamaha dealer only saving grace is they will try to find parts for you, but usually very expensive most times unobtanium . Xj4ever is my new choice ,and his tech column you wont find better info. Besides when I order parts and they show up and I feel like a kid opening the box . I've had many bikes , seems Yamaha parts are a little harder to locate , my Kawasaki and Honda no real problems so this is a gold mine to find on this site use it or possibly loose it.:):D:p:cool:;)

I have found the best way to search for parts is at XJ4EVER's web page. It is much easier to feed through with many more product catagories to lead you in the right direction.
