Looking for some suggestions of which direction I should go when I bite the bullet and repaint my XJ.

I'll be painting the tank, side-covers, tail and front fender - I also have a front faring too which I'll give the same treatment.

I am liking the scheme on the Yardbuilt xj1300 but i'm not sure how it will go with the sloped tank..

    What do you guys reckon?

LOL...maybe in hindsight not a good idea for a motorcycle. Thinking about adding remote controlled flamethrowers in the mufflers (for tailgaters, also) then maybe an obnoxiously loud stereo playing 'Ride of the Valkyries'...

Yeah, the Yard built looks bad ass, and the paint work is beautiful...but if this is your first painting attempt, as in I have never painted a motorcycle or car before, then you have a bit of a learning curve in front of you. You can crank out a respectable job with rattle cans, I do it a lot... but I am pretty sure that's not how they did the Yard built bike, that was probably someone with a lot of experience and a $1,000.00 Iwata or Sata spray gun, just for starters :)
