Bare Frame

    Took the eng off the frame, almost ready to send to the powder coat.

    Where do you guys send things to get power coated? Is it expensive? I would really like to do that with my frame some time.

    There is a place a few miles from here but I don't know the price. When I get back from vacation I plan to bring it over..

    Do they prep as well or do you have to prep it for them?

    They should prep it because a sandblast is part of the powder coating process. The thing I found when I had my frame done was the person who built the frame had uased a lot of filler so I had to reweld some of the joints and grind a fair amount of splatter off.
