    Fortunate you weren't hurt worse. Like I told my wife when I was teaching her to ride: There ain't no fender benders on a bike--you're going to get hurt.

    FU-Glad you're on the mend and not more seriously injured. I'm now teaching my 16 year old daughter how to drive a car. I've told her that everyone on the road is either talking on the phone, texting, putting on make up and totally oblivious to what's going on around them. I told her every other driver is out there trying to kill her. Probably good advice for motorcyclists too.

    There are two types of motorcycle riders in the world: those who have fallen and those that will.
