Though the lack of gear (and location) is disturbing, the riding is not.

    Cripes!
I confess, I was puckered watching that, a couple spots it looked like his shoulder hit the rocks.

Ya. The slide was probably due to the tire not being warm enough yet.

That guy had to be a pro! Not many could ride a race tuned track bike like that....let alone ape-hanger'd HD.

I don't think I've shared with you the skills of YellowWolf.
The wing is modded a bit, but it's still the rider making it all work.

i know a guy who rides a street glide like that, he says it's not that hard to do but you can't do it very long. It's hard work jumping around like that and when you get tired you make mistakes

Reckless comes to mind. If he took a spill, he could take out someone else.

Both of the roads in those videos are regularly run like that on the weekends, and are well patrolled. There are informal rules, and for the most part people are very responsible (even though it dosen't look like it to most people).

I'm not encouraging or condoning riding in a sporting manner on public roads. The point of this thread was to share what a machine is capable of when the rider has practiced their riding skills. Every one of the skills involved in riding fast are applicable to riding safe, even if you never intend to ride fast.

Fair point. I used to run in Autocross events with the SCCA and one thing that taught me is there is a proper place for pushing the limits, and that shouldn't be on public roads. That said, I feel it's very important to understand your (and your machine's limits) for when it becomes necessary to avoid an accident.

One more. This time closed-course and at low speed.

I can't quite manage this as well as the rider below can, but I keep practicing.

In the first vid the rider was working hard, while the rider of the camera bike looked as though he was barely stretched.
