    i have a 1982 xj550. I found an 81 I was going to use as a parts bike. How much has changed in the year diffrence? Bike is 2 hours away and I don't want to use the fuel to drive that far to find out that it won't work

    The only changes from year to year is color and fairing or no fairing.
