    I'd still have to borrow...lol.
I paid $900 usd for my 750r, and it was in basically the same cosmetic shape that it is now.

Has anyone here bought a bike in Canada and brought it back to the US? I see nice examples like the one here and just write it off because I think that it would be a lot of hassle, but I am not basing that on anything.

I have not done that myself, but it's a fairly straightforward process for anything 25 years old or older (DOT and EPA exempt at that point). A few forms, a fee, a custom's inspection to be sure that the machine and paperwork matches. U.S. customs has a page about it.

Runs as nice as my 650 with twice the kilometres on it
    Aftermarket seat cover looks ok
Needs a front tire, back one is new
Shocks like pogo stick need progressive ones to ride it fast, or are they rebuilable?
    Small crack in upper fairing
    Has oem Yamaha luggage rack
Brake rotors have quite a bit of wear(anyone have a spare set?)
    Has both original keys OMG
    Owners manual a bit tattered
But overall very nice , will be easy to get collector plates.
It's still in the trailer... If my wife finds out I'll be toast!!

Is it the same as the 900? Might make it easier to find. I assume dressed 750s are tough to get.

Yes there were only 601 750's built for Canada . Looks to be the same as 900, same frame etc

Lower 48 in general. Otherwise Central Mitten.
The 750RL is a 900 frame with the 750 engine.

Could you get some good detail pics of the engine mounting, and frame under the engine please.
I am trying to figure out the mounting for the lower cowl on the 900.

I'm curious to see how the rack on the last picture connects to the bike?
