When revving up from 2500Roma to 3k rpms it bogs
If I slowly pull the throttle it goes right thru it with little to no issue
It's only when I pull the throttle moderately quick (normal) it bogs stays at about 2700 and eventually revs up thru it
If I keep it above 3000 rpms it accelerates as fast as I pull the throttle
Sometimes it bogs and cuts off
When I let it idle and blip it bog starts again
Just looking for some pointers anything will help please and thank you

Add a little seafoam to a full tank of gas ,( DO NOT whole bottle) run it awhile see if you get any improvement. Has it been doing what you describe for awhile? Could be carbs need cleaned .

Are you running the stock airbox or pod filters?

sounds like a pilot jet issue. the pilot jets control the engine untill around 3k rpm

    from
TALKIN' TECH: Various thoughts on various issues
The pilot fuel circuit is active from idle up to about 2500-3500 rpms, and at about 3000 rpms the main fuel circuit starts becoming involved, and by 4000+ rpms the main fuel circuit is responsible for about 80%+ of the engine's fuel supply conditions.

sea foam may help any carb cleaner may help
    did you clean the carbs?

did you ever get the correct TCI for the bike?

Neither at the moment idle screw is impossible to get to once the boots to the box are in
Not sure what to run till I get it running a little better

You thinking too big or too small? I made sure to have stock jet sizes, I'll run sea foam thru her see if it helps, adjusting the air fuel screw near the boots helps smooth the transition
It doesn't always do this I rode it for 10 minutes around the neighborhood without issue then it cut off and it started again after a few revs it was fine again ..... confusing
No it's still running the xj1100 tdi
Got it to run and start regularly so I didn't see a reason to swap it.

Without the airbox on...it will run exactly as you are describing. You cannot troubleshoot running issues if the stock airbox and filter are not on it. The intake air volume and velocity directly effects how the carb slides rise and fall (react to throttle input) and issues there will create a bog like what you are describing.

have you checked your wet set fuel levels?
if you set your idle before the boots are on you will be setting the idle after the boots are on.
