I recently purchased a 1982 Seca xj750rj. I'm in the process of rebuilding front calipers and master cylinder. I tried numerous sources to purchase a master cylinder rebuild kit...no luck after many calls to dealers, aftermarket sources etc.. could someone please direct me a known source for this much needed kit. Thank you for your time and assistance.

    Start a conversation with Chacal.
He has all the available parts (including the kit you need), and they will actually fit.

Not only that but Len (chacal) will supply the correct size wire to clean the port in the master cylinder and the glue to replace the glass!

No sight-glass in the 750 Seca master cylinder. Advantage: oddball :)

Better braking, better handling, more power, better looks, it seems the "oddball" is up 5-0. Seca for the win!

It did, but it was called the FZ750. Better frame than the superbike-era XJ.

I'm not a fan of fairings. I like to see the engine. I prefer the look of the Seca. I want it all, plus nudity!

It was the FZ750R that had the full bodywork.

Getting there, but still more bodywork than I like. Plus, there's the final drive...

What baffles me is why go gold accents on the engine when the bike is silver, black, red? Ruins it for me, though fixable.

Everything that was cool had gold plating, gold paint, or gold leaf back then.

I was concerned about that, too. Looks kind of out of place. If there were a hint of gold in the paint, like a pin stripe, or all the white lettering switched to gold, or gold rims.
Dammit, now I want one of those too!
