Anyone buy aftermarket handlebar grips for their Seca Turbo? Mine has these atrocious foam grips from the previous owner that are almost impossible to hold onto and I would like to replace them. Just looking for recommendations! Thanks.

I, amd many others, have fitted replica Grand-Turismo grips. Comfy, vibration reducing, non-foamy, and affordable. They have beome somewhat popular again, so there are lots of manufacturers that make good replicas.

I dunno if you're doing something different with the images lately, @k-moe but I have not been able to see them in your recent posts.

I wonder if it has anything to do with my moderator status. I've been linking images the same way as I always have.
    Must investigate.

And the first one is still not there for you? Must be being blocked by the host; I just linked it from their webpage.

First one is still not working. Broken image icon is what I get.

I can see both as well. I actually got the EMGO version of the Gran Turismo grips, but haven't been able to figure out how to get my foam grips that are falling apart off. The foam is almost all gone, but the plastic underneath sure is hanging on for dear life.

Screwdriver jammed under the plastic to start. Then spray WD-40 or simmilar to break up the adhesive, then blow the grip off with shop air if it's still stuck.

Thanks for the tip, I'll give that a try. I was just worried about screwing up the throttle tube under the grips as I understand they can be difficult to find.

You could cut them off carefully with a sharp razor knife.

I have these on my Maxim with bar end mirrors and love them, and will likely get a pair for my Seca Turbo when I'm to the point in my rebuild of needing grips.

They are open ended if that is a deal breaker, but they were recommended through someone on this forum a few years back and are great in my opinion.
