Ex-neighbor of mine had this ridiculous chromed up scooter with a flame paint job, rode it year round. In Calgary Alberta. It gets to the -40's here. Dude was loony.

Mind you, a local guy was spotted riding a scooter in a blizzard here last winter and a local car dealership gave him a free Charger, so maybe there's something to that.

It does. There are several threads about how it works and how to diagnose problems. A google search works best.
If you have trouble finding the appropriate threads just start one, or ask in your bike's thread (if you have one).

morning ride was pleasant 70 give or take 5 degrees.
All though when the AC went out at work it was noticeable with in a half hour, then it sucked.
Ride home at 8 pm 102 degrees

I've been busy bicycling this morning so my heart and lungs stay in proper working order.
The XJ is resting untill Monday due to big thunderstorms this afternoon, which I have no need to be out in.

Pulled the wheels off and dropped them at the local shop for tires. Should have them back Tuesday.

Ordered a set of heated grips, a lift handle (mine is missing), a set of mirrors, and a chain and sprockets.

Took her out for my first ride with her! This is also my first ride since I took the MSF course over a year ago. This bike hasn't been registered since 1994 til now, so I don't know the last time she has been down the road. Only went around the block a few times. Still have some kinks to work out; both with the bike and with me. I was pretty rusty (and still inexperienced)

Just take her easy. I'll all come back to ya.

    Where's the fairing?
Why is the only light in front the fog light?
Don't ride at night with it like that. All you'll see is the curb.

Took both bikes out to a new and fairly unoccupied subdivision close to the house and let the girlfriend get acquainted with her new bike. It went well aside from some of her own frustration with her skills but that's to be expected just starting out. Overall a good day, went on a nice 30-40 mile ride in the afternoon and made it home, bike put away before the rain showers came through

Fairing will be installed next. The headlight is installed in that. Want to make sure everything is in order and buttoned back up before putting it on; tends to get in the way of working on things. Don't worry, don't plan on riding after dark at all for a while; nor out of the neighborhood until fairing/ light is installed. After all this time, just wanted to get her rolling again.

bike will get washed kinda not really dirty road water looks like I'll be washing the bike tomorrow afternoon.
I always try to be mind full of the painted lines and give myself extra room for stopping in this inclement weather.

Took the family out to Moraine Lake today. Spent the whole time secretly wishing I was riding - 30c, clear mountain air, turquoise water. Absolutely gorgeous place, all those photos you see of Banff are typically Lake Louise, which is just a couple miles away, but imho not as nice as Moraine. The water actually is that cool turquoise, too, it's not photo editing.

So many bikes on the road - saw a simply beautiful rich blue Seca on the way out too. Fully stock, fairings and all.

Absolutely need to take the XJ out that way on a camping trip.
